eReaders

I've been back and forth over picking out an eReader. I had up until somewhat recently a perfectly working Acer android tablet.
However, mysteriously, it decided to up and die. So lately I've been thinking over how much I used the tablet and for what functions.
So I decided I'd get an eReader like a Nook or a Kindle to replace it, as its primary usage was reading and very light web browsing.
So therein lay my dilemma, a Nook, or a Kindle. I have ebooks from Google, Amazon, PragProg and a few others.
Along with that, it would be nice to use Instapaper articles that I occasionally read over on such a device.
Kindle supports that right away, however, eBooks from Google on a Kindle are a pain.
Nook sounds great in all other respects, however, their back lit model has some serious screen flaws that I am not sure I can overlook, yet, a back-light being integrated would be great.
