Java programming

During the course of my current job I have learned to like, I would not yet say love, Java.
Being able to write one app and have it run on multiple OSes without any extra work is nice and it runs faster than my previous apps written for work in python and ruby.

I am hoping eventually I can get back into writing apps in Java as fast as or nearly as much as I can in other languages.

At that point then it will be invaluable to my daily work life.
